It is no suprise that severe weather affects our state several times each year. On April 27th, 2011, many parts of the state were devastated by tornadoes. "Tornado Alley" is a term that is traditionally associated with the Midwest, but now is being used in reference to certain areas of Alabama.
Central Alabama Storm Shelters is located in Concord, Alabama, which was recently impacted by an EF4 tornado. On April 8th, 1998, this same community was struck by an F5 tornado. Many lives were lost in both of these events, and it is more apparent than ever that some form of protection is needed by ALL residents of communities that seem to be targeted by these severe storms.
